Our Host, Don Luepke

After 38 years in teaching ministry, Mr. Don Luepke announced his retirement. Don has been a mathematics teacher at Concordia Lutheran High School Fort Wayne, Indiana since 1974 and Lutheran High School East in Cleveland, Ohio, before that. He is truly a master teacher.

Don taught young people with a passion that is rare. In 1985 he received the Presidental Award for Excellence in the Teacher of Mathematics from President Ronald Reagan.

He has also taught several summers at the International School of Hong Kong and Princeton University for the Woodrow Wilson National Leadership Program.

Don has been with "Worship for Shut-Ins" since 1992.
